(Gifted American Apparel Skirt, Ellery Top, Vintage Jacket/Necklace/Clutch, Gifted Bec & Bridge Ring) Isn't it weird when your outfit falls together so easily you're left wondering why you didn't think of it sooner? As soon as i saw this beautiful AAskirt i instantly put together this outfit in my mind, complete with dark maroon nail polish, a slick pulled back ponytail and even this romantic garden setting to finish off the look. I love when things like that happen and i love that i finally got to wear this gold foil jacket i've had for months. Nothing makes me happier than an outfit that makes you so excited you race home to find what to wear with it, until you realise you don't really have anywhere to wear it to just yet? Unfortunately this happens to me quite a lot because of the relaxed and under dressed nature of my hometown.I wore this outfit a week ago when i caught up with the beautiful Emily from Little Black Book, Rachel from I Want What She's Wearing, and Josh from Australian label Subfusco, for a quick bite to eat in the CBD. This was followed by an exciting quick stop at Shop Til You Drop Magazine (more details coming on this coming soon, i promise!) before racing to the airport to pick Luke up after not seeing him for an entire month. All in all a pretty amazing day and i managed to not buy a single thing in the city :)

A quick thank you to American Apparel and the girls at Bec & Bridge for the wonderful gifts. This skirt and ring are available here and here and i'm wearing OPI nail polish in a shade i can't remember. It looks like a dark purple slash maroon slash autumn goodness in a bottle, which reminds me - Happy first day of Autumn Australia! I'm so ready for what this season has to offer.

(Gifted American Apparel Pants, Supre top, Vintage Cardigan/Clutch/Necklace, Topshop heels, YSL ring) Over the summer I've received some pretty amazing gifts including a whole lotta basics from American Apparel, which is the one thing I've always desperately needed. I've been obsessed with these AA coral pants for so long and even though it's 40 degrees here i can't seem to take them off. Add an outrageously fluffy 80's cardigan and i think I'm ready for the most inappropriately dressed for summer award, and with the pants and jackets I've been running lately i wouldn't be surprised if i took out first place.Luke and i went out for lunch and the lighting was so beautiful on this bridge i thought it would be a good chance to shoot a few overdue photos for my blog. If anyone saw me they would of thought I'd walked through a bright and joyous rainbow but it couldn't reflect how i feel right now any better. Bright, happy, radiant. I have a feeling 2011 is going to be a big year already.

This cardigan will be available in store next week so keep your eyes peeled. Then again, i don't think it's going to be very hard to miss something this vibrant. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I'll be seeing you sooner than soon :)
