Theory Jumper / Zara Shirt & Heels / Custom Made Skirt & Clutch / Celine Sunglasses / Collar Necklace from Hong Kong

A quick little outfit post of what I wore on Day Three at MBFWA, with a few of my recent purchases from Hong Kong. A little obsessed with this diamante collar necklace that I can't stop layering underneath all of my collared shirts, which adds a little hint of sparkle to these cold Autumn days. I had this skirt custom made by

Sanoii and Six

and a matching clutch my friend Leah made for me whilst I was away in Hong Kong, both made from a beautiful Japanese silk that I purchased in red as well. When I ran into

Candice Lake

at MBFWA she noted how I "wasn't dressed how you usually dress. You seem to be a little Asian-inspired today". I didn't even realise it but perhaps this was me drawing inspiration from my recent trip to Hong Kong? I think that inspired half of my outfit choices during the week now that I think about it... I always love hearing feedback, especially when people point out things that have never crossed my mind before. Another photographer said "And who said blue and green could never be seen?". It sounds strange but these so called 'colour rules' never, ever cross my mind when I'm dressing myself. I've always loved the shades of blue and green together, as well as red and pink, and I think it's important not to play by any rules but instead wear whatever you feel like wearing. Listen to no one but yourself and draw inspiration from the strangest of places, especially if it means jumping on a plane and traveling the world.
