Last week Luke and I flew to Melbourne for two days with Lacoste who invited us down for the Australian Open in celebration of their 80th anniversary. For someone who dedicated a lot of my youth playing tennis as an after school activity, it dawned on me how strange it was that I had never been before. I don't know, I think it's just one of those events where you never think to buy a ticket to go yourself but once you go you wonder why you didn't go sooner? Kind of like sky diving or ten pin bowling. Kind of.

If you've ever watched a tennis game on television before then imagine that, but add an electric atmosphere and an even faster rally in real life. We watched Roger Federer battle it out on the court against Milos Raonic who had a serve reaching up to 230km per hour. The rest of the day was spent previewing the 80th anniversary Lacoste collection with a special version of their iconic crocodile logo created by the famous British designer Peter Seville. I think I spent half an hour making my way through the ridiculous crowd that had gathered in the merchandise tent in hope of having their initials embroided onto the sleeve of their Lacoste piece, a genius service which obviously drew a stampede of people. Kudos, Lacoste, and thank you for having us.

Apologies for going missing for the past week. If you follow my on Instagram you'll have noticed I have been travelling through Queensland with Luke. We've been exploring what this beautiful state has to offer and I'm so excited to share with you what we've seen so far. I've only ever made it as far as Byron Bay so you can imagine how excited we were to be able to explore The Great Barrier Reef for the first time! This is one of my favourite photos we took - a moment of serenity when a very sleepy sea turtle came to play with us at Lady Elliot.
