Sending some postcards from beautiful Barcelona in Spain. Can't wait to have a little more time to explore Barcelona this time and in good company too! Last time I was here I wandered through the city by myself, which is never a bad thing as I got to experience the city in the utmost selfish way, doing everything I wanted to and moving at my own snail-like pace when taking in a new city. Plus it meant I got to eat a ridiculous amount of candy from the La Boqueria Food Market for breakfast, lunch, and dinner without judgement which is always nice. More updates coming soon!

postcards from home

My every day view from my hometown in North Avoca | Burning sunsets (wearing T by Alexander Wang Top / Michael Kors Watch) | Favourite rings at the moment | Fresh blossoms | Instagramming, always | The month of May on my Sarah Hankinson calendar | Walking in a pool of golden light | Notebooks from Paris and Hello Kitty | Tropical sunsets from my balcony | Running from Luke | Flower Bomb swirls on cliff tops | Sweet treat breaks (wearing Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats) | A slice of my office | Instagramming like Gollum because I can | Thinking about what lies ahead under a glowing moon with Luke

I've been at home for longer than I had originally planned after a few opportunities for work popped up that required me to stay in Sydney. I couldn't figure out why I was going so stir crazy, as usually I love every second of being at home, but it became a little clearer when my friends pointed out that I basically haven't stopped moving and travelling since I went to Shanghai with Louis Vuitton last July. After covering so much ground in Europe I guess everything feels like it moves ten times slower here at home, but then again that's not a bad thing as it's always so refreshing coming back to my marshmallow bed and being able to collect my thoughts while I roll around in the sand or sit by the ocean. As Luke and I both work from home we'll take breaks to get away from our computers and out of the house, which usually means coffee runs or going down to the beach to watch the sunset. When I'm standing on the shoreline with nothing but the sound of crashing waves against my ankles it always makes any past, present and future worries quickly disappear, leaving nothing but a simple moment to remind me there really isn't anywhere else in the world I'd rather be. Appreciating the small things and the beauty of what makes home just so beautiful is something I hope I never forget. There's really no place like home.
