A few new and old purchases that I've been wearing a lot of lately. Absolutely love this bonjour jumper that I invested in for my trip back to Paris in the next few weeks because I'm cheesy like that. If I'm on the topic of how cheesy I am I better just roll with it and add that anyone that knows me knows how much of a romantic I am, so in this case you could say I wear my heart on my bag. Oh god, even I already know I'm going to be that embarrassing mother telling the bad dad jokes when I'm older.
Hello my loves, I'm alive! Sometimes I'm a little overwhelmed by how sweet my readers are, especially when you write emails checking if everything is ok if I haven't blogged in a while and have also been missing on Instagram for nearly a week. But don't worry, nothing bad has happened. Considering Instagram is one of my biggest obsessions I can see why it would seem so out of character that I've disappeared for so long.
To be honest, I think there are stages when every person and creative just has those lull moments. This wouldn't be a personal blog if I couldn't write about these thoughts nor share them with you. I couldn't be happier with how much I feel I have grown and learnt professionally in the last month or two, but at the same time I just feel so creatively stale with all my energy being invested into different parts of my work, not aimed at creating beautiful content for my blog like usual. I'm currently driving back and forth to Sydney for meetings more than I have ever done before, so finding (colourful, sunset appropriate and foodstagram) inspiration within my daily routine doesn't come as easily as it did before. But feeling like this is only natural, and I wouldn't complain in the slightest about the situation. Creatively stale yet incredibly busy with work - one is easily rectified and the other a blessing, which I still count every single day.
And for the record, this top from ASOS is insane in real life. The quality surpasses the affordable price tag and the cropped length tempts my belly button to make an appearance again but I'll keep it clean with some wide leg pants and a sexy comb over. I should have known I'd find some much needed inspiration scattered across my bedroom floor...
