Lover Lace Top and Skirt / Jennifer Zeuner Rings / Charlotte Olympia Heels / Celine Clutch

So just a super quick post today as I race back down to Sydney for a day of back to back meetings. On Tuesday I stayed down in Sydney for the night to attend the Giorgio Armani event at Myer and this is what I wore - an ivory lace two piece by Australian designer Lover. I had been waiting for nearly a year to spend my Lover voucher but every time I saw something I liked I knew they would release something even better in their next collection. Finally, with only a week left to spend it, I made my way into their flagship store in Sydney and stumbled across this amazing two piece which for some reason I had never spotted before. It also comes in a dress version but the option to wear the skirt and top seperately made the decision far too easy, as well as being able to wear them together for the Armani event with a pop of vibrant red was the icing on this perfect ivory laced cake.

I think by now you would all know how much I'm obsessed with Charlotte Olympia. The hardest part about her designs is the incredibly high price tag that comes with them. As much as I absolutely love the quirkier heels (the 'Bananas is my Business' Heels still haunt my dreams), I often tend to invest in the simple and classic styles I can wear with nearly everything that I know won't date too quickly either. But when I saw this clutch it was a whole different story. My justifying process was close to non-existant and all I knew was I just had to have it. And when it arrived? Well let's just say it was an easy reminder as to why I love Charlotte Olympia so much. It just comes down to that simple yet overwhelming feeling you get when you try it on for the first time and there's absolutely no remorse, just pure love, excitement and perhaps a tiny squeal and twirl in there too (surely I'm not the only one who has ever done this?). And for me, that kind of happiness makes it worth every single penny.Well, that's what I tell myself anyway. Luke didn't really understand. Surely it hasn't come to the point in our lives where I have to start hiding new purchases from him or telling him "Don't worry, I got it on sale..."?

Zanita and I took these photos when the sun was setting on the second day of MBFWA. I also mixed them in with some street style photos I found floating around the internet which highlight just how fun this clutch is. And if you're reading this Luke, I got it on sale!
